Our History

Young Women’s Empowerment Foundation (YWE) was established in 2004 and incorporated in 2005. YWE has helped thousands of vulnerable youth by providing essential support services through our Empowered 2 Excel (E2E) social and emotional academic enrichment mentoring program, workshops and conferences designed for those at-risk of disconnecting from their community and educational journey. 

Our supports also include providing financial assistance with college and/or careers options and many of our (E2E) program graduates are currently attending college, vocational training or now soaring successfully in their careers.
